The Friday night brew session went on as planned, but without me. I was torn between brewing and getting some much needed rest. After working three afternoons with a fever and a hell of a sinus infection, brewing lost the battle. I tucked my tail, hung my head, and found my bed. I am feeling better, thanks for asking.
From what I heard, the heffe was brewed without any issues and everything turned out great! If you want the details, you’ll have to ask Brian or Seth.
I’ll be back in action this Friday and we’ll keep you posted on how the KEGGING goes!

This morning, as is the case with every morning, I started my day off by taking the dog for a walk. It was a brisk morning, but what else would you expect for the end of December.
The sun had not quite fully risen, and the air was quiet…almost eerily so. It was the kind of quiet that only exists this time of year. There were no birds chirping. The wind was still. There were no kids on corners waiting for the school bus. It was just dead silent.
Maybe it was the silence, or maybe it was the captivity of anxiously awaiting Lucy to do her business, but I found my mind spinning with ideas. Continue reading

It’s Friday!
Busy evening ahead ladies and gentlemen! Tonight we brew our honey brown, bottle our American pale ale, and drink our wheat. It’s going to be a good night!

I know you’ve all been patiently waiting for us to update you on Friday night, so here it goes.
We didn’t brew, but we bottled our wheat. Remember when I posed the question, “did we turn a beer making corner?”
We did.
A hard right turn.
Hold on tight kind of turn.
We’re back baby! Our wheat, although not even carbonated yet, was amazing! The color was perfect! The flavor was perfect! The alcohol content was perfect! It is exactly what we’ve been waiting for! Exclamation points for everyone!!!!!!
We can’t wait to taste this bad boy again in about two weeks. More to come!
