Hey, hi! How are you? I hope all is well, because we are fantastic! What a great brewing weekend we had. Would you like to hear about it? Well ok, let’s get right to it!
Let’s start with the pictures of the Hot Blonde Jalapeño Blonde Ale. We kegged this beauty while waiting for the IPA to mash all sexy like.
Hot Blonde filling keg number one.
There’s that pretty beer being filtered before entering the keg.
And there it is filling keg number two.
And here’s Brian showing off the Hot Blonde in its fermented but uncarbonated state. It tasted fantastic by the way.
We were supposed to transfer the Cream Ale to secondary, but it looked so nice and comfy that we let it go. There were no additions anyway. Sorry there’s no picture.
On to a beer that I’m personally really excited about, our IPA. This was the first time we brewed this recipe and it couldn’t have gone any smoother. Our numbers were scary close, practically dead on and it turned out damn pretty!
You might be able to tell that we’re brewing an IPA!
Mash complete, filling the kettle. Look at that gorgeous color!
Boil complete, wort chilled, filling the buckets.
Well, that’s it, consider yourself up to date! This Friday we’ll be kegging the Cream Ale and transferring the IPA to secondary. Before I go, I’ll leave you with one more picture.
That’s 30 gallons of liquid gold my friends!
Until next time…
