Hey guys and gals! It’s been a while since we’ve posted anything so I figured I’d fill you in on the stuff we’ve been up to.
Since we finished the IPA on July 10th, we’ve had some family birthday parties to attend and some things to get done around the house. This past Friday we had the opportunity to brew, but put it off for another week to do something really fun!

Enter Recess Brewing. We’ve been so busy with our own brewing antics that we haven’t been able to hang out with these guys in quite a while. We decided to bring our latest brews for them to try and give us some feedback, as well as enjoying their many fine craft brews!

As you can see, we had plenty to choose from, and many new ones we hadn’t tried yet!

The night started off innocent enough.

By the end of the night, we were here. I’m happy to report that our beers were well received and all in all we had a great night with friends!

On to brewing news, this Friday we will be brewing! We’ve got our next three brews lined up, we’ll be starting with the EPA, then the Red Rye IPA, and finally the Smokey Grove Apple Smoked Porter! Oh and one more thing before I forget…

We got a bourbon barrel from our  friends at Square One Brewing that we will use later on in the season for a Bourbon Barrel Aged Chocolate Stout! Very excited about that!
