Oh man you guys, I forgot to write the Monday morning update! Why didn’t you remind me? This is 100% your fault, I’m not taking any blame whatsoever. I forgive you, let’s move on to the (not so) ULTRA RARE (because I kinda do this often) TUESDAY MORNING UPDATE!

Well, they got together and made sweet, sweet love over the past four weeks. Wait…the Chocolate Milk Stout and the Bourbon barrel made sweet, sweet love, not Brian. To be perfectly clear, Brian did not make sweet, sweet love to either the Chocolate Milk Stout or the Bourbon barrel…that we know…of. Anyway, our Chocolate Milk Stout was hanging out in the Bourbon barrel for four weeks and after many samples we agreed it was time to keg this beauty.
Last Friday, we did just that. Wouldn’t you know it, I’ve got pictures!
There, inside the barrel is the most fantastic smelling brew we’ve ever laid our noses on. Unbelievable!

We decided to run it through a single filter just in case any of the charred barrel floaties made their way into the keg. Better safe than sorry we always say!
There she is all snug and cozy in the cooler, getting some bubbles. She’ll be bottled this Friday.
