Good morning friends! While I’m sure your weekend went by way to quickly, I hope it was a great one! The Regular Guys sure did have a great weekend! Wanna hear about it? Here it goes!
*FLASHBACK TIME*
Way back on November 27th we brewed our Chocolate Milk Stout with a Bourbon barrel in mind.
On January 1st that Chocolate Milk Stout went into the barrel.
After many samples we agreed it was time to keg this beautiful brew.
*FLASHBACK TIME OVER*
After a week of carbonation it was finally time to taste and bottle the finished brew. It’s honestly difficult to put into words the feelings I have for this beer. It’s amazing. The chocolate and coffee aromas mixed with the bourbon. The smooth and creamy mouthfeel. The comforting roastiness. Not too much bourbon flavor to overpower the wonderful characteristics of our Chocolate Milk Stout. Everything about this beer is fantastic!
Without further adieu, Brewmaster Seth presents the Bourbon barrel aged Chocolate Milk Stout!
And another.
And inside bottles.
And at home in my basement.
Well, that’s that! We’re currently working on the next three beers that we’ll be brewing. Tentatively they are the Red Rye-der, cream ale, and a new brew, our oatmeal raisin brown ale.
Until next time…
Looks great guys. Glad it turned out so well!
Thank you sir! We are very pleased for first timers!
