Hey there fellow beer lovers, it’s Monday! You out there making this Monday your bitch? Kicking so much ass you don’t even have time to consider taking names? No? Me either, it’s Monday, why would we be, right? On the bright side, I have a butt load of pretty pretty pictures to share with you! Let’s skip the how-do-you-do and get right to it!
Friday night the RGB gang got together to brew our Hot Blonde Jalapeño Blonde Ale and keg our XPA. Everything went surprisingly smooth and we actually finished up a little earlier than normal. Here’s our night in photos, enjoy!
Hops, grains, and jalapeños! You knows it’s bound to be a great night.
Brian the Grain Crusher, not just a job title but also his underground wrestling name.
Brewmaster Seth getting everything in place.
The first runnings of the Hot Blonde filling the kettle.
This beer is gorgeous!
The kettle is still filling up, almost ready for the boil.
Brian slicing the jalapeños, getting ready to add them to the boil. Yeah we drink Genny Cream Ale and eat Dorritos while we brew, what of it?
Post boil jalapeños. This aroma is absolutely fantastic!
Fermentation bucket filling up. Gorgeous!
Fluffy aerated wort, ready for the yeast.
Ready for the kegging pictures? Here we go!
The XPA after secondary. It doesn’t look like much here, but I wish you could smell it. We need Smell-O-Vision!
Filtering the XPA while kegging. That’s a fine looking beer my friends!
The XPA filling up the kegs.
Well, that’s everything I’ve got, you guys have a great week and keep that shiny side up!
Until next time…
