Unlike my post from last week, this is an infographic about craft beer drinkers that doesn’t piss me off:

I can remember it like it was yesterday. I was a young lad living in (or rather close to) Peoria, IL. I had recently graduated college, and I was enjoying a booming career in radio broadcasting.
Though to be honest…I use the term booming very liberally (and with a great deal of sarcasm)…as 70 hour work weeks for $16,000 a year is not exactly what most would consider successful.
At any rate, I was full of piss and vinegar and ready to take on the world. More than anything though...I was thirsty.

On Sunday I talked about the numerous businesses that Brian, Seth and I have been involved in over the years and it brought back so many fond memories. Namely memories of our video production days. As I was going through old files on the computer I realized how many times our “production company” changed names. I know this has nothing to do with beer or brewing, but I figured I would share anyway. If I have to connect this to beer to make it relevant to the blog, we did drink a lot of it while writing, shooting and editing our videos and films!
Here we go!

This was Seth’s production company before we met.

This was my production company before we met. We eventually merged the two houses.

After a brief hiatus, we joined forces and two companies were formed. WTF was for films.

1019 Creative was for corporate stuff.

Then every time we entered a festival we changed our name. Because we’re cool like that.

Another festival, another name.

Who knows, maybe next time it’ll be this!
So there you have it. I know it’s not necessarily about beer, but it is an insight into who we are and what we do and have done. Once we get our YouTube channel up and running we’ll share all of our little gems. Until then you’ll just have to be patient. I mean you’ve waited this long, you can wait a little longer. Geez.

Amy Poos at Twice Baked Arts in Edwardsville, IL makes really cool stuff out of recycled glass. Not just beer bottle clocks, but all kinds of housewares. Of course I opted for the beer bottle clock though! I gave her a bottle and one of our Hot Blonde Jalapeño Blonde Ale labels and she baked it in her kiln and turned it into a clock! Pretty nifty. It now proudly hangs on my dad’s wall in his basement.
